The Unica home gym, conceptualized by Technogym founder Nerio Alessandri in 1986, was designed to integrate an entire workout regimen into a single, compact unit. Occupying merely 1.5 square meters, this ingenious device facilitates over 25 distinct exercises, targeting all major muscle groups. Its sophisticated design incorporates an integrated lever system, enabling seamless transitions between exercises without the need for component changes, while adjustable seating and padded supports enhance user comfort and ergonomic efficiency. Technogym posits that this product significantly contributed to the emergence of the home wellness market, skillfully merging advanced fitness technology with a design aesthetic that complements residential interiors.

Curated by digital artist Felice Limosani, the exhibition features contributions from 40 luminaries across the spheres of design, sport, and culture, each reflecting on the Unica machine's profound influence over the last forty years.
