The designers acquired the property in 2006, but the existing structure failed to capture the potential of its stunning oceanfront location. The meticulous five-year process of securing permits and rebuilding allowed Yabu and Pushelberg the invaluable luxury of time to conceive and execute their vision with utmost deliberation. This extended period enabled them to deeply engage with the land, understanding its topography, vegetation, and the ever-shifting sand dunes.
